3 Mexican Restaurants To Try Nearby

Mexican restaurants are known for their flavorful dishes and refreshing margaritas.

If you would like to eat out for dinner tonight visit one of the following restaurants:

Caracol Mexican Coastal Cuisine

Caracol means snail in Spanish, and Chef Hugo chose this name as he has fond memories of preparing Ceviche de Caracol in his brother’s kitchen at a resort. The interior mixes rustic, industrial, modern, and traditional elements, and is complete with custom carpet, gray-washed tables, and woven chairs. Chef Hugo’s menu takes guests on a culinary journey along the Mexican coasts, and meals include cochito costeno, carnitas de atun, and callo de hacha.

Lopez Mexican Restaurant

In 1962, Rodrigo Lopez immigrated to the United States from Mexico. With no experience, he entered the restaurant industry hoping to improve his family’s quality of life. Seventeen years later, he opened Lopez Mexican Restaurant with the thought that a lot of determination would help make his new dream a success. The restaurant is often packed, and it has a 4-star rating on Yelp as guests enjoy the exceptional service, ambiance, and delicious meals. They include tacos rancheros, roma classic enchiladas, and chalupas.

Bodegas Taco Shop

Bodegas is a casual eatery that is the only restaurant nestled in the heart of Houston’s Museum District. Seven of the city’s major museums are within one block, and it’s usually full at dinnertime with those who have just explored an array of exhibits. It was voted “Home of the Best Margarita” by the Houston Press, and guests also enjoy the restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere and riding the mechanical bull.
